Bright spaces to meet and create in a sustainable environment.

Our aim is to shed new light on contemporary work, learning and meeting places by offering a delightful and sustainable environment for you to gather, create and innovate. Welcome to our bright, lively spaces, optimized for collaboration and learning in inspiring fashion.

At Brightspace, uniting the former AEtelier (Leuven) and BCBW (Brussels) buildings, we aim to develop an ecosystem of high-quality, sustainable locations where SMEs and large companies can move in flexibly without sacrificing individuality.

Our approach to sustainability starts from a vision that goes beyond just the ecological aspect. We want our people to be happy to work at Brightspace, for our clients and guests to return with a smile, and to grow our spaces in a sustainable way.

Taking sustainability to heart

But of course, in today’s fast-changing world, keeping our ecological footprint as small as possible is at the forefront of our operations. Our location in Leuven runs primarily on self-produced solar energy, of which we generate enough to power our charging stations for electric cars and bikes and to provide extra power to our Brussels location.

When renovating our Leuven site, we used energy-efficient construction methods, ensuring better isolation, heat recuperation and energy efficiency. And we equipped many of our rooms and gathering spaces with second-hand furniture.

We are also working to further diversify the fauna and flora in the green areas on our sites and we work together with local partners for everything from food and drinks to cleaning services to keep our supply chain as short as possible.
